Phoenix Technologies Continues UEFI Standards Leadership and Will Host EFI Byte Code (EBC) Summit 2007

MILPITAS, Calif., Feb 21, 2007 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Phoenix Technologies Ltd. (NASDAQ:PTEC), the global leader in core systems firmware, today re-affirmed its commitment to advancing the UEFI (Unified Extensible Firmware Interface) standard and announced that the Company will host the EFI Byte Code (EBC) Summit 2007 at its corporate headquarters next week, from February 27 through March 1. Through its leadership, the UEFI specification has emerged to provide the secure foundation for a new generation of safe, reliable, easy-to-use personal computers.
